These were his words. With his great zeal for communication Fr. Berthier said to his magazine: “Fair well, my Messenger”. He published his first edition of the „Messenger of the Holy Family“ with the intention to deepen the enthusiasm of the faithful for the veneration and imitation of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. His messenger was to reach the cities and the villages, to go to the castles and to the poor, to sinners and good people, and to the parishes, in which he had preached retreat. Fr. Berthier gave a lasting incentive to his messenger, which today is being published in several countries, where missionaries of the Holy Family are living and working.
Il 4 maggio 2008 la Scuola Apostolica Sacra Famiglia (Santo Angelo, Brasile) celebra il 76 anni di esistenza. Questa è la 18° Scuola Apostolica fondata dai MSF e la prima scuola fondata fuori Europa.
La fondazione d’una scuola apostolica non faceva parte degli progetti dei MSF chi erano arrivati nel Brasile del Nord, 1911. I seminari che si moltiplicavano in Europa erano sufficienti per formare i missionari, e la mentalità missionaria dell’epoca non sentiva l’importanza di formare e rafforzare le Chiese locali.
Grâce au zèle du Souverain pontife Léon XIII d’heureuse mémoire, la Ste. Famille est honorée aujourd’hui dans l"univers catholique. En érigeant l’association universelle des familles chrétiennessous le vocable de la Ste. Famille de Nazareth, Léon XIII a voulu qu'elle se répandit partout, comme il a l’exprimé clairement dans' ses lettres apostoliques.
On 5 April 2008 Father General was the principal celebrant at the mass of the introduction of the local superior Pater Patrice Ralaivao MSF of the community in Rome. In his homily he put great emphasis on the responsibility of the local superior and all members of the house for the community.
