Dear Confreres!!! When we are celebrating the great mystery of Easter in this year of the priests, we will ask the Risen Lord, to strengthen our lives as priests and religious. In these days we invite you to meditate on the words of Fr. Berthier: Le prêtre ne se fait pas prêtre non plus pour lui-même, mais pour les autres; le religieux doit être mort à lui-même, vivre en Jésus-Christ et pour Jésus-Christ et pour ses confrères. (Articles du Procès informatif, Grave, 1950: 147) “Nobody can be a priest, if not for others; a religious must be dead for himself, he lives in Jesus Christ, for Jesus Christ and for his confreres.” We wish all of you a happy Easter! In the name of the confreres at the curia MSF P. Paulinus Yan Olla MSF P. Edmun Jan Michalski MSF |

The Risen Lord receives his disciples. He says to them: “Come and eat!” (John 21,12). Jesus invites his disciples to come. This is a surprising invitation. Abandoned on the mountain of Olives and even denied by Peter, he now invites his disciples to eat. This appears impossible in the eyes of human beings. However, the Risen Lord underlines his new way of being near to us. |
