Some people went to the city of Grave, which is situated in the South East of the Nederland. They went along the river Maas, went through the Ruiyterstraat, which means Ruiyter Street. This group of the some thirty people went over a small grassy hill and arrived at a tiny cemetery under a two big trees with fresh leaves and the fragrance of early spring. These people bowed their heads to read the names of the dead buried in this calm place. Among the names they also found the name of Jean Berthier M.S., the founder of the Missionaries of the Holy Family (MSF), whose mortal remains were transferred to the Sanctuary La Salette in France in 1995. This group of people was no others than the community of MSF confreres in the Nederland, accompanied by Fr. General Edmund Jan Michalski and his general assistants. At 2.30 p.m. on 3 June 2009, all of them prayed in the place, where the first MSF members were buried. |
